Michel Boyer and his family own and operate a number of wine properties in the area of the Bordeaux region which lies between the Rivers Dordogne and Garonne, ‘Entre deux Mers’, as well as on the left bank of the Garonne. The vineyards have a potential of some 400,000 bottles per annum, of which 35% are sweet whites, 25% dry whites and 40% red. The wide variety of terroirs enables the domaines to offer a diverse range of wines covering five A.O.C. Applelations: Loupiac, Bordeaux White, Bordeaux Red, Graves White and Graves Red. The domaines’ sweet whites come from Loupiac and Sainte-Croix-du-Mont, on the right bank of the Garonne, opposite Barsac and Sauternes. Each is a judicious blend of Semillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle. Reds and Rosés come from both sides of the river, from Graves on the left bank and from Premieres Cotes de Bordeaux on the right. These are stylish and well-structured wines from a producer we have known for over ten years. All of the wines on offer will impress and represent very good value.
