Our passion is to bring to our customers wines from independent producers, usually family owned. Their wines are lovingly and carefully made, enjoyable to drink, occasionally unusual, but almost always excellent examples of their type. Helena Wines Limited is based in the Midlands but we deliver all over the U.K.

Because our suppliers have modest sized businesses, they are able to exercise an unusually large measure of personal control over the growing, picking and selection of grapes and are meticulous in the way they make their wines. Such attention to detail inevitably shines through in the bottles of wine we import and offer for sale. A common thread among our producers is their care of the soil as well as the flora and fauna in their vineyards, the avoidance wherever possible of the use of chemicals and the use of natural methods to control pests. Above all, they are justifiably proud of their wines: as one said to us recently, "We produce wines that we like to drink ourselves with our friends".

To ensure that our wines reach you in prime condition, our warehouse is climate controlled. Some of our wines will benefit from further maturing and we aim to ensure that, while they are in our care, this process proceeds slowly and steadily.

We present our current range of wines, all of which we believe offer excellent value for money. Some are top drawer wines, the best of their type, for the serious wine lover, but we believe all will please the everyday wine drinker. We will, from time to time, be adding judiciously to our range of suppliers, not only in France but in other countries across the world. Only when we are satisfied that any new supplier comes up the high standard we have already set will their wines be added to our list. Look out for future additions!

We offer our wines for sale either in individual bottles or by the case. Sending single bottles by carrier will of course always seem expensive, so, unless calling at our premises personally, a more realistic way to make purchases is by the case, either of six or twelve bottles. We usually supply cases of a single wine, but we are also prepared to make up individually chosen mixed cases: please ask for details.

Unless otherwise stated in our list, our wines are bottled in 75cl bottles.
